Shaik Suhail Pasha is an Assistant professor in the Cybersecurity Department, School of Engineering, at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Information and Cybersecurity) from ABV–Indian Institute of Information Technology, Gwalior (ABV-IIITM Gwalior), and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, Amaravati.
His academic research interests primarily focus on IoT–Fog computing and cybersecurity, with information security and digital forensics as a secondary specialization. His work emphasizes latency-aware task offloading, resource optimization in distributed IoT–Fog architectures. His interests in cybersecurity include network intrusion detection, machine-learning-based threat mitigation, cyber forensics, and governance, risk, and compliance frameworks aligned with global standards.
He has contributed to peer-reviewed research on machine-learning-based DDoS attack mitigation using ML and optimization-driven IoT-fog systems and has prior research and industry exposure through engagements with DRDO (DLRL). He is committed to delivering industry-relevant cybersecurity education and fostering research-driven learning.
