Assistant Professor
Abhijith N holds an M.Tech in Structural Engineering and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Material Technology, with a research focus on enhancing the performance of engineering materials under fatigue, flexural, and durability conditions. His research interests include advanced construction materials, composites, material characterization, structural performance, and the development of materials with improved long-term serviceability. He has experience in teaching and academic activities, including subjects in the Humanities, enabling him to contribute effectively across interdisciplinary areas of engineering education. He has also co-authored research papers published in Scopus-indexed journals, particularly in the fields of material science and composite materials, along with contributions to AIP Conference Proceedings.
In addition to his academic and research responsibilities, Abhijith has undertaken several administrative and institutional leadership roles, serving as an NSS Coordinator, Carbon Neutral Campus Coordinator, and Autodesk Coordinator for the School of Engineering. Through these roles, he has contributed to student engagement, sustainability initiatives, technology integration, and institutional development. His profile reflects a strong combination of research, teaching, academic leadership, sustainability, and technology-oriented initiatives.
