Mr. Abhishek Badwaik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Madhuben and Bhanubhai Patel Institute of Technology and earned his Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur. With a strong academic background in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, he is dedicated to advancing research and delivering high-quality education that equips students with the skills to solve real-world challenges using intelligent technologies.

His research interests include Computer Vision, Industrial Visual Anomaly Detection, Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Explainable AI (XAI), and Intelligent Software Systems. His recent work focuses on developing AI-driven solutions for industrial inspection and quality assurance using unsupervised and self-supervised learning techniques. Passionate about bridging the gap between academic research and industry applications, he is committed to mentoring students, fostering innovation, and developing scalable, explainable, and impactful AI solutions.
