Abhishek Kumar Pandey is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bengaluru. He has completed his M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, and holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
He is proficient in Python, C, C++, and Rust, with strong hands-on experience in cryptography, secure protocol design, LoRa/LoRaWAN technologies, Docker, ChirpStack, Arduino, SQL, machine learning, and data science. His academic expertise covers core computer science subjects, including Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Database Management Systems, and Software Engineering, with a focus on bridging theory and real-world systems.
His research interests lie in IoT security, Wireless Sensor Networks, Physical Layer Security, Blockchain-enabled networking, and energy-efficient communication protocols. He has previously worked as a Junior Research Fellow at IIT (BHU), Varanasi, where he designed and implemented a LoRa-enabled secure long-range communication framework resilient to eavesdropping, replay, and jamming attacks. His recent research includes RSSI/SNR-based key generation, Blockchain-assisted cluster head selection, and GA-Lévy optimization techniques for sustainable and secure IoT and WSN environments.
