Abhishek Rawat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He earned his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, and completed his M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar. During his postgraduate studies, he was awarded the prestigious IndiaAI Fellowship by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, recognizing his academic excellence and research potential in Artificial Intelligence.

His research interests include Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and Medical AI. He has authored and presented research at a reputed IEEE conference and was selected to present his work on deep learning and medical imaging at the Research Symposium on AI during the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Passionate about teaching, research, and innovation, he is committed to mentoring students and advancing AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges.
