Aryan Kourav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (R&AI) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He completed his Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur, and his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Lakshmi Narain College of Technology. He qualified GATE Computer Science, conducted by IIT Kanpur, with an all-India rank in the top 6 percent, reflecting a strong grounding in core computer science and engineering fundamentals.

His work spans machine learning, data analytics, and data visualization. He has also developed interactive, publicly published dashboards for large-scale sports analytics, demonstrating his ability to translate complex data into accessible insights. His research interests include machine learning, robotics, statistical analysis, recommender systems, and multimodal data fusion.

He is currently engaged in ongoing research on multimodality in healthcare using machine learning, integrating medical imaging with patient metadata to improve disease classification and support clinical decision-making, with an emphasis on multimodal fusion strategies and Graph Neural Networks. His technical expertise includes Python, SQL, PowerBI, and core machine learning and statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing and model evaluation. As an educator in AI and Robotics, he aims to blend applied machine learning, data-driven research, and intelligent systems to help students build strong analytical and problem-solving foundations.
