Dr. Aswathi V P is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. She holds an M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry and received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, where her research focused on the development of advanced carbon-based hybrid nanomaterials for high-performance supercapacitors. Her research integrates carbon nanomaterials, two-dimensional materials, MXenes, conducting polymers, and transition metal oxides to develop sustainable electrode materials for next-generation supercapacitor applications. She has published several research articles, review papers, and book chapters in international journals, including the Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, Journal of Energy Storage, Electrochimica Acta, and RSC Advances, and has presented her research at national and international conferences.

Her academic interests extend to interdisciplinary research at the interface of chemistry, materials science, and energy technologies, with an emphasis on developing sustainable materials for clean energy and environmental applications. Her research interests include electrochemical energy storage, supercapacitors, nanomaterials, green synthesis, and sustainable energy technologies.
