Dr. Dilip Kumar Jang Bahadur Saini

Associate Professor & Chairperson

Dr. Dilip Kumar Jang Bahadur Saini is an accomplished academician, researcher, and technology professional with over 23 years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and industry practice in the fields of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security. He is currently serving as Associate Professor and Chairperson in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), School of Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University.

He completed his B. Tech in Computer Engineering from University of Mumbai in 2004 through the Watumull Institute of Electronic Engineering and Computer Technology. He earned his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2014 and obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. He is also associated as a Post-Doctoral Researcher with National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan.

Dr. Saini has made significant contributions to research and innovation with more than 125 publications in reputed international journals and conferences, including Scopus and SCI-indexed journals. His research contributions span interdisciplinary domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Human–Computer Interaction, Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT, and Cyber Security. He has authored and edited multiple books and book chapters, contributed to funded research projects, and filed numerous patents, design patents, and copyrights at national and international levels.

He has successfully guided Ph.D. scholars and post-doctoral researchers and actively collaborates with researchers and institutions across India and abroad. His research excellence has been recognized through prestigious awards including the Best Researcher Award and Performance Excellence Award.

Dr. Saini also holds several globally recognized industry certifications, including:
