Dr. S. Prabakar

Associate Professor

Dr. S Prabakar is a passionate and seasoned academician for more than two decades. He has done his Ph.D. in Commerce by specializing in Human Resource Management (HRM). He has been in teaching profession for more than 15 years to Post Graduate Level like PGDM, MBA and M. Com. affiliated to Periyar University & Bangalore University and MBA affiliated to Bangalore University and more than 22 years to Undergraduate courses affiliated to SCSVMV University, Periyar University, Bangalore University and Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) and in Dayananda Sagar University. He has cleared the UGC-NET in Commerce, Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) in Commerce, Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET) in Commerce, and Management. His main areas of interest are Accounting, Human Resource Management, and Marketing. A prolific researcher and resource person, he has delivered keynote addresses at several national and international conferences.

He has also attended various workshops and conferences in international, national, and state levels and has presented 20 research papers in these conferences. Also, he has published 5 Scopus-indexed research articles, 5 ABDC C category research articles, and 5 research articles in international, national, and state-level conferences, as well as in international, peer-reviewed, blind-reviewed journals and UGC Care-listed journals. His works span topics like HR practices, digital banking, e-HRM, cloud accounting, and green HRM initiatives. His dedication to student success is evident through his consistent record of producing university rank holders and centum scorers in commerce subjects. Presently, 5 Ph.D. research scholars are pursuing their research under his supervision at Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore.
