Ms. Farisha K. R is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (AI/ML) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. She holds an M.Tech degree in Network and Information Security from Pondicherry University and a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Kerala.

Her research focuses on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to address challenges in network security and critical infrastructure protection. She has worked on several research and development projects in these areas and has published research on AI-driven intrusion detection for SCADA networks.

Her areas of expertise include Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Graph Neural Networks, and Intelligent Network Security. She is passionate about mentoring students in research and innovation, encouraging participation in technical projects, hackathons, coding competitions, and interdisciplinary learning.
