Professor

Gurmeet Kaur is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. She completed her M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar and earned her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Eternal University, Baru Sahib, Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. Her academic interests include computer science research, emerging technologies, and engineering education.

Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Network Security, and Intelligent Systems. She is particularly interested in UAV path planning, optimization techniques, and autonomous navigation algorithms for unmanned aerial vehicles. Her work focuses on developing efficient and secure solutions for real-world engineering and cybersecurity challenges. She also explores applications of data analytics and advanced computational techniques in emerging technologies. In addition, she is passionate about interdisciplinary research, innovation, and technology driven learning in computer science and engineering.She has also published a conference research paper in IEEE in the field of UAV path planning.
