Mr. Harsh Jha

Assistant Professor

Harsh Jha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore. He is an academic and researcher with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and interdisciplinary applications of computing.

He holds an M. Tech degree in Wireless Networks and Computing (Information Technology) from ABV–IIITM Gwalior, where he was awarded the Gold Medal and Certificate of Merit for academic excellence. He completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. He is also GATE (Computer Science) qualified.

His research interests include Explainable Artificial Intelligence, Graph Neural Networks, Machine Learning for Bioinformatics, and data-driven modelling. His postgraduate research focused on interpretable graph-based learning frameworks for biomedical link prediction, emphasizing transparency, robustness, and practical applicability of AI models.

He has academic experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in areas related to Computer Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. His approach emphasizes conceptual clarity, hands-on learning, and research-oriented thinking.

He is keen on interdisciplinary research and aims to bridge theory, research, and real-world applications, particularly in healthcare and data-centric domains. His long-term academic vision is to contribute to outcome-oriented education, responsible AI research, and student mentorship aligned with emerging technological and societal needs.
