Ms. Jayashree Rana

Assistant Professor

Jayashree Rana is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at C.V. Raman Global University (CGU), Odisha, India. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sambalpur University, Odisha, India. She further strengthened her academic background by earning two postgraduate degrees: a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Ravenshaw University, Odisha, India, completed in 2019, and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) from Utkal University, Odisha, India, completed in 2021.

Her research interests primarily focus on Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML). Currently, her research contributions are focused on the Zero Trust Security Model, where she explores modern approaches to strengthening security architectures. She has published many research papers in international conferences and also serves as a reviewer for many international conferences. Her academic activities demonstrate a strong commitment to research, teaching, and the continuous advancement of cybersecurity education.
