Dr. Joshuva Arockia Dhanraj
Professor & Associate Chair – Research & Innovation
Dr. Joshuva Arockia Dhanraj, recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford University & Elsevier Database, 2025), is currently serving as an Professor and Associate Chair in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. Prior to this, he was affiliated with the Centre for Automation and Robotics (ANRO) in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Hindustan University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and worked as a Teaching cum Research Assistant (TRA) at the School of Mechanical and Building Sciences (SMBS), VIT University, Chennai Campus, India. He also held the position of Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Environmental Assessment and Technology for Hazardous Waste Management Research Center, under the Faculty of Environmental Management, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. Dr. Joshuva is actively associated as an Adjunct Faculty at both the University Centre for Research & Development (UCRD), Chandigarh University, Mohali, India, and the Research and Development Cell, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar-Delhi Grand Trunk Road, Phagwara, Punjab, India. Additionally, he serves as the Chief Research Manager and Advisor at Smart Green Grid Solutions, India. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, followed by a Master of Technology in Mechatronics from VIT University, Chennai Campus, Tamil Nadu, India. He also completed his Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from the University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechatronics from VIT University, Chennai Campus, Tamil Nadu, India. Dr. Joshuva has made significant scholarly contributions, having published more than 300+ peer-reviewed papers in SCI and Scopus-indexed international journals. He has also filed 50+ national and international patents, out of which over 25+ patents have been granted. His research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Explainable AI, Generative AI, Reinforcement Learning, Federated Learning, Quantum Machine Learning, Neuro-Symbolic AI, Machine Fault Diagnosis, Predictive Maintenance, Condition Monitoring, Structural Health Monitoring, Signal Processing, Prognostics and Health Management, Renewable Energy Systems, Solar Photovoltaic Systems, Wind Energy Systems, Energy Forecasting, Smart Grid, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Intelligent Control, Cyber-Physical Systems, Industry 4.0, Industry 5.0, Internet of Things, Industrial IoT, Edge AI, Sensor Fusion, Healthcare AI, Medical Image Analysis, Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Blockchain, Secure Intelligent Systems, Sustainable AI, Green Technologies, and Intelligent Engineering Systems.
