Assistant Professor
Karthik S B is a passionate educator and researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering, with a strong academic foundation and a deep commitment to advancing product design, manufacturing, welding, and metallurgy.I graduated with distinction from the prestigious SSIT Tumkur with a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Product Design and Manufacturing, where I was honored with a Gold Medal for my outstanding academic performance.
Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Welding and Metallurgy, focusing on advancing research in welding processes, materials, metallurgy, and modern manufacturing technologies. My research interests also include the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), DLI, and NVIDIA technologies for data-driven analysis, process optimization, computational approaches, and innovative engineering solutions.
I am deeply committed to the academic and research community, and my work reflects a passion for interdisciplinary research and pushing the boundaries of knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
