Indian Constitution and LawKinkini Chakraborty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities at the School of Engineering. She completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from KIIT Law School, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and obtained her LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Trade Law from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore Central Campus, with First Class. Prior to joining academia, she worked as a Legal Analyst at Exlitem Private Ltd., where she conducted legal research, drafted documents, prepared reports, and reviewed legal documentation for quality.
Her academic and research interests include Constitutional Law and Intellectual Property Rights. She has authored research publications on contemporary legal issues and has actively participated in academic research and legal writing. She is passionate about promoting legal awareness and fostering an understanding of constitutional values among engineering students through an interdisciplinary approach to teaching.
She is committed to academic excellence, research, and student development, with a focus on making legal concepts relevant to engineering. Her objective is to encourage students to appreciate the role of law in technology, innovation, governance, and professional ethics while developing a strong foundation in constitutional principles.
