Dr. Krishna Kant Dwivedi is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He obtained his Postdoc (IPDF) from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur (NIT Durgapur). He was awarded the MHRD fellowship by the Government of India during his doctoral studies. He worked as a Visiting Scholar at the Energy Research & Technology Group, CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI) Durgapur during his doctoral studies, where he actively contributed to advanced research in the field of Fluidization, Pyrolysis, and Gasification.
Following his Postdoc, he worked as a Principal Project Scientist at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras). Prior to joining Dayananda Sagar University, he also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SIRT Bhopal, and SR University Warangal, India.
His research interest lies in the multi-scale studies (both experimental & numerical) of thermochemical conversion technologies viz., pyrolysis, combustion and gasification, covering from the fundamental study to industrial applications. With a strong interdisciplinary research focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, he is particularly interested in applying advanced AI techniques to solve complex engineering problems, develop intelligent predictive models, and enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of engineering systems.
Dr. Dwivedi is a Certified Reviewer for renowned SCI Journals viz., Fuel (Elsevier), Powder Technology (Elsevier), Renewable Energy (Elsevier), International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (Elsevier), Combustion Science and Technology (Taylor & Francis), Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology (Springer), Energy resources Part A: Recovery, Utilization and Environmental Effects (Taylor & Francis), Thermal Science & Engineering Progress (Elsevier), Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews (Elsevier) etc.
