Assistant Professor
Prof. Lohit N is an Assistant Professor at the School of Commerce and Management Studies, Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore, India. He has over 17 years of extensive experience in both academic and administrative roles across reputed institutions and universities. His research interests include Finance, Accounting and Taxation, Sustainability, Green Accounting, the impact of climate change on global finance, and broader social and economic development issues. He has presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences and has published several scholarly articles in reputed journals. He is currently pursuing a part-time Ph.D. in Sustainability Finance. His notable publications include “The Role of Technology for Sustainable Business Practices” published in a peer-reviewed international journal, and “Digital Transformation and Sustainability in Developing Economies: How Industry 4.0 Drives Green Practices – A Systematic Literature Review” indexed in Web of Science. He has been recognized for his research contributions with the Bronze Shield for a commendable research paper in the Taxation category at the ICAI International Research Awards 2024 for his work titled “Tax Planning and Tax Avoidance in Permanent Establishments under Direct Tax Laws in EPC Contracts – Creating a Sustainable Framework.”
