Assistant Professor

Dr.M.Gokilavani, recognized startup lady mentor under MakerVillage Startup (MVS) Kerala from 2018, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. Before joining DSU, She worked as Deputy HoD in department of Emerging technologies, Gurunanak Technical Campus, Hyderabad, India and IQAC coordinator for institution level and worked as Assistant Professor in CUSAT university as state employee and KL university Vaddeswaram, Andhra Pradesh.She Successfully mentor 8 startup in and our kerala and also mentor and winner in Smart India hackothon 2019 Kerala.She successful completion 3 DST Projects from 2018 to 2022 and also AICET 1 Atal FDP funding and 1 AICET seminar and conference Funding Successfully. She earned her Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Trichy, India, followed by a Master of Computer Science and engineering from Anna University, Chennai Campus, Tamil Nadu, India. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from BIHER University, Chennai Campus, Tamil Nadu, India. With over 12+ years of teaching experience, 5 years of dedicated research experience, Dr.Gokilavani has made significant publication more than 38+ peer-reviewed papers in SCI and Scopus-indexed international journals and IEEE Springer Conference.She Published 3 International Books under Artificial Intelligence edition 1 &2, Machine Learning. She has also filled 6 national and international patents realetd to startups, out of which over 2 patents have been granted. Her research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Deep Learning ,IoT, Neural Networks in medical image.
