Dr. Manikandan Moovendran

Dr. Manikandan Moovendran is an accomplished academic and researcher with a strong background in Computer Science and Engineering, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with over 10 years of experience in teaching and research. He holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University.

He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning). Over the years, Dr. Manikandan has held various teaching and research positions at prestigious institutions such as SRM University, VIT University, REVA University, and Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Manikandan has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing technology through research in areas including AI, Machine Learning algorithms, blockchain, and cloud computing. His scholarly contributions include 25+ publications in Scopus-indexed journals, book chapters, patent grants, and conference papers.

He has also mentored several hackathons, earning accolades for innovative solutions in national and international competitions. His research extends into practical applications, with multiple funded projects and patents, including work on AI-based systems for network security and healthcare devices.

In addition, Dr. Manikandan has been honored with the “Best Researcher Award” by AICTE – Ideathon and is actively involved in curriculum development and institutional initiatives, serving as a coordinator for NAAC, NBA, and NIRF activities.

His professional memberships include IEEE, ACM, ISTE, IAENG, and CSTA, reflecting his active engagement with the global scientific and research community.
