Mr. Mahendra is an academician and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru.
He holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Analytics) from the National Institute of Technology Delhi (2025) and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology, Raipur, affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (2023).
His research lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Quantitative Finance and Data Analytics with primary interests in Machine Learning, Quantitative Trading, Algorithmic Trading, High-Frequency Trading, and Financial Time-Series Analysis. His work focuses on developing efficient, scalable, and data-driven models for real-world applications, particularly in financial domains.
His current research emphasizes applying AI and advanced statistical techniques to financial time-series data for predictive analytics, alpha generation, market microstructure modeling, and automated trading systems, with a focus on low-latency algorithmic trading frameworks.
He possesses strong programming expertise in C++ and Python, with a solid foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Systems, Software Engineering, and Web Technologies, integrating algorithmic efficiency with statistical rigor.
During his M.Tech, he developed a research framework titled “A Computation and Communication Efficient Scheme for Smart Grid Security using Group Key Agreement Protocol”, addressing secure communication challenges in smart grid systems by minimizing computational overhead and ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and scalability.
Mr. Mahendra is committed to advancing research in AI-driven financial systems and secure intelligent infrastructures, contributing to high-impact publications and mentoring students in building strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
