Ms. Namyapriya Dayananda

Assistant Professor

Namyapriya Dayananda is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (SOE) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Explainable AI, Image Processing, Data Science, and Full Stack Development.

She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the area of Explainable AI and Transferable AI for Ovarian Cancer Detection, focusing on improving early diagnosis using interpretable AI models. She completed her M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and her B.E. in Information Science and Engineering from VTU.

She has several years of teaching experience and previously worked as an Assistant Professor at K S Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, along with experience as a Coding Instructor at WhiteHat Jr / BYJU’S Future School, where she mentored students in programming and computational thinking.

Her teaching areas include Parallel Computing, Full Stack Development with Django, Web Technologies, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, and R Programming. She has authored and co-authored multiple research publications in journals and conferences on topics such as machine learning-based recommendation systems, IoT-based smart monitoring systems, intelligent healthcare applications, and MLOps-based systems.
