Dr. Nayana Prabhash

Assistant Professor

Dr. Nayana Prabhash is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Commerce and Management Studies – UG, Dayananda Sagar University. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce (awarded in February 2025) and an M.Phil. in Finance, in which she secured the highest score in her dissertation. She has also completed her M.Com. in Finance and B.Com. (Computer Applications), and qualified for the UGC NET JRF in Commerce in 2020. She is presently pursuing an M.A. in Economics.

She has over six years of combined teaching and research experience, including her tenure at the University of Kerala and her current role at Dayananda Sagar University. Her research interests include Ease of Doing Business, Business Regulatory Compliance, Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Agribusiness, Technopreneurship, and Tribalpreneurship.

Her research contributions include publications in Scopus-indexed journals and edited volumes, covering areas such as business ease, agribusiness, and the gig economy. She has actively presented research papers at national and international conferences, focusing on themes such as digital marketing, AI-driven innovations, and technopreneurship.

Dr. Nayana Prabhash has received several recognitions, including the Best Dissertation Award for her M.Phil. and the UGC JRF Award. She has also served as a reviewer for a Scopus-indexed edited volume. She teaches subjects such as Entrepreneurial Skills, Principles and Practices of Auditing, Microsoft Office for Business, Team Management, Shopper Behaviour, and Office Automation and Secretarial Practices.
