Ms. Nikita Banerjee

Assistant Professor

Ms. Nikita Banerjee is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science). She is also pursuing her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology Rourkela in the field of Data Science.

She completed her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Odisha University of Technology and Research (formerly College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar). She earned her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Gandhi Institute for Technology, Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar.

Her research interests include Bioinformatics, Game Theory, Data Science, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. She has published research papers in reputed journals and has presented her research work at several international conferences. She has also contributed as an author to book chapters in the field of Medical Image Processing.

Ms. Nikita Banerjee is committed to fostering an engaging and research-oriented learning environment for students aiming to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, encouraging innovation, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary research among students.
