Mr. Nitesh Mishra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Technology at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He completed his M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur as an ICCR (Sushma Swaraj Silver Jubilee Scholarship) Scholar from Nepal. He earned his B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from BMS Institute of Technology & Management (BMSIT&M), Bengaluru. Prior to joining academia, he accumulated one year of industry experience as an Associate .NET Developer at IME Pay, Nepal, where he worked on enterprise application development using C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, and modern software development practices. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Graph Neural Networks, Generative AI, and Large Language Models. His M.Tech dissertation, titled 'An Enhanced Transformer-Based Graph Neural Framework for Drug–Drug Interaction Prediction', focused on developing advanced graph neural network models for accurate drug–drug interaction prediction using molecular structures and interaction networks to support AI-driven healthcare applications. He has developed several academic and software projects, including Fake News Detection using NLP, Movie Recommendation System, and an Expense Tracker REST API with Spring Security and JWT. His technical expertise includes Java, Python, C#, Spring Boot, .NET Core, MySQL, SQL Server, Machine Learning, NLP, Graph Neural Networks, REST APIs, Git, and Generative AI technologies. He is passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and conducting research in emerging AI technologies. His current academic interests include Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Explainable AI, Graph AI, AI for Healthcare, and intelligent systems.
