Prof. Pranati Mishra
Assistant Professor
Prof. Pranati Mishra currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at Dayanand Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. She holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Mathematics and Computing from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics and Computing from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Her academic background reflects strong foundations in computer science, complemented by a deep understanding of mathematical logic and analytical principles that underpin modern computational and data-driven technologies.
Prior to joining Dayanand Sagar University, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida. During her tenure, she mentored undergraduate students, supervised final-year projects, and contributed to curriculum development and academic initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ analytical and problem-solving skills.
She also gained industry exposure as a Data Analyst Intern with Swiggy Instamart, where she worked on large-scale data analysis using tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Excel, and Power BI. Her responsibilities included extracting, cleaning, and processing complex datasets, developing interactive dashboards, and generating analytical insights to support strategic business decisions. She also applied data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and basic machine learning-driven analytical approaches to identify patterns and trends in operational data. This experience strengthened her practical understanding of real-world data analytics, data-driven decision-making, and modern data platforms used in large-scale digital businesses.
Prof. Pranati Mishra has presented research work at international conferences, including a publication in an IEEE conference on ensemble learning techniques for climate data analysis. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Environmental and Climate Data Analytics, and emerging areas such as Quantum Computing. She is passionate about integrating research, technology, and education to develop innovative solutions and inspire students toward advanced computing and data science research.
