Assistant Professor

Dr. Ram Raj G is an Assistant Professor at the School of Commerce and Management Studies, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University and has completed his M.Com, M.Phil., PGDCA, M.L.I.S.C., and other professional qualifications. He has also qualified the UGC-NET (2018 & 2019) and TNSET (2018) in Commerce. With more than 7 years of teaching experience, he has been actively involved in teaching, research, student mentoring, and academic development. His areas of specialization include Finance and Taxation.

His teaching and research interests include Financial Accounting, Taxation, Financial Markets, and Research Methodology. His doctoral research focused on investment behaviour, volatility, and price discovery of Gold and Gold Exchange Traded Funds.

Dr. Ram Raj G has published 30 research articles in UGC Care, 3 Scopus-indexed, along with 15 book chapters and one authored book on Corporate Accounting. He has also contributed to 18 National and 25 International conferences and academic programmes. His intellectual contributions include 3 patents, comprising an Australian patent and Indian patent applications.

He has received 14 awards and recognitions for his contributions to teaching, research, and academic excellence, including the Annual Research Award from CHRIST University - 2026, Best Young Faculty Award - 2025, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award - 2024, and Outstanding Faculty Award in Commerce 2023.

He has demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous professional development through 42 SWAYAM/NPTEL courses and has received 14 NPTEL achievement recognitions, including NPTEL Discipline Star, NPTEL Champions, NPTEL Evangelist, NPTEL Believer, NPTEL Motivated Learner, and NPTEL Top Performing Mentor. He has also served as a resource person for 32 guest lectures, workshops, and academic programmes at various institutions.
