Dr. Ranganath K. J. earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, where his doctoral research focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to advanced manufacturing, machining process optimisation, and intelligent engineering systems. His research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Engineering, encompassing advanced manufacturing, computational intelligence, data-driven optimisation, intelligent sensing, and sustainable engineering. His work integrates machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to address complex challenges in manufacturing and industrial systems. He has published research articles in reputed SCIE- and Scopus-indexed international journals, filed an Indian patent, and serves as a reviewer for leading international journals. With over eight years of teaching experience and more than three years of research experience, he has academic interests in AI-driven manufacturing, intelligent quality assessment, and interdisciplinary engineering research.
