Prof. Ranjan Das is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He completed his M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar. Prior to joining Dayananda Sagar University, he served as a Guest Lecturer at Women’s Polytechnic, Hapania, and worked as a Network Operator cum Field Engineer at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), where he gained valuable experience in teaching, software development, network operations, and e-Governance solutions.

His teaching and research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Data Science, Database Management Systems, and Data Analytics. He is proficient in Python, SQL, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, with research focused on AI-driven intelligent systems and deep learning applications. Passionate about teaching and innovation, he is committed to mentoring students, promoting research excellence, and developing practical AI solutions to address real-world challenges.
