Assistant Professor

Mr. Saurav Singh is an academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering with interdisciplinary expertise spanning Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Intelligent Manufacturing Systems, and Additive Manufacturing. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, where he is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic activities.

He holds an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. Prior to this, he completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. His interdisciplinary educational background enables him to work at the intersection of computer science, manufacturing systems, and intelligent automation.

Mr. Singh has professional industry experience as a Software QA Engineer at GoMechanic, where he worked on software quality assurance, testing methodologies, and system reliability. His industrial exposure has strengthened his practical understanding of software engineering processes and quality-driven development practices.

His current research focuses on AI-driven intelligent manufacturing systems with specialization in machine learning applications for additive manufacturing process optimization. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Intelligent Manufacturing Systems, Additive Manufacturing, Process Optimization, Predictive Analytics, and Industrial AI applications. He is particularly interested in applying data-driven and computational intelligence techniques to solve real-world engineering and manufacturing challenges.

Mr. Singh has qualified the GATE examination in CS/IT in both 2023 and 2024, demonstrating strong academic proficiency and technical competence in core computer science subjects. He actively participates in research-oriented learning, technical development activities, and interdisciplinary innovation initiatives.

His teaching interests include Programming Languages, Data Structures, Design and

Analysis of Algorithms, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Software Engineering, and related emerging technologies in computer science and engineering.
