Dr. P. Shankaraiah
Assistant Professor
Dr. P. Shankaraiah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Karnataka, India. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Mathematics, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, with a specialization in Survival Analysis. Prior to this, he earned an M.Sc. in Statistics from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. He served as a Statistics Lecturer at Balayesu Degree College, Hindupur, and later as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at SJC Institute of Technology, Chickballapur. Throughout his academic career, he has taught a wide range of courses in Mathematics, Statistics, Probability, and Numerical Methods to undergraduate and engineering students. He is an active Life Member of the Indian Society for Probability and Statistics.
