Dr. Shweta Singh is an accomplished researcher and academician specializing in Wireless Communication, Quantum-Secure Systems, and AI-driven Next-Generation Networks, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Dayananda Sagar University and previously associated with the Manipal Institute of Technology, India. She is widely recognized for her contributions toward developing secure, intelligent, and self-optimizing communication architectures for 5G, 6G, and beyond ecosystems. She earned her M.Tech & Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad in 2022, and B.Tech from Gautam Buddha Technical University. A UGC-NET qualified scholar, Dr. Shweta possesses a strong interdisciplinary foundation that integrates wireless communication theory, AI-based optimization, and quantum-resilient security frameworks. Dr. Shweta began her academic journey as a Guest Faculty at the J. K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology, where she contributed to teaching core subjects in communication systems, signal processing, and electronics, laying a strong pedagogical foundation for her future academic career. Prior to academia, she served as a Senior Design Engineer (R&D) at Larsen & Toubro, where she gained extensive industry experience in PCB design, EMI/EMC compliance, product validation, and smart energy metering systems. This industry exposure continues to inform her applied and implementation-oriented research approach. Dr. Shweta has established a strong and rapidly growing research profile, with 25+ high-quality publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and reputed international conferences, including IEEE Transactions and IET platforms. Her research contributions span Wireless Powered Communication Networks (WPCN), Cognitive Radio, SWIPT systems, Intelligent Spectrum Sensing, and Post-Quantum Secure Communication, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven optimization, energy-efficient communication, and secure data transmission frameworks. Notably, one of her research works has been recognized as a Top Cited Paper (2025) by Wiley, underscoring the global relevance, citation impact, and scholarly influence of her work in next-generation wireless communication systems. Her innovation contributions extend beyond publications, with multiple patents and copyrights filed and granted in areas such as intelligent energy systems, wireless communication frameworks, and applied electronics, reflecting her commitment to translating research into practical technological solutions.
Dr. Singh actively contributes to the global research community as a reviewer for reputed journals (IEEE, Wiley) and plays key leadership roles as a session chair, organizer, and convenor for international conferences such as INCIP and AICCoNS. She is also a member of the IEEE Communications Society, enabling active participation in international research collaborations and knowledge dissemination. Her academic leadership is further reflected in her role as a research mentor, currently guiding 4- Ph.D. scholars and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students on industry-aligned projects in collaboration with organizations such as Nokia and ITU. Her mentees have achieved international recognition, demonstrating her ability to foster high-impact research talent and innovation-driven outcomes. Her excellence has been recognized through several accolades, including the Inspiring Leader Award (2025) for outstanding contributions in research, innovation, and academic leadership, along with achievements in co-curricular and institutional activities.
