Dr. Sneha Sharma

Associate Professor

Dr. Sneha Sharma is Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. She has 10 years of teaching experience in the Department of ECE, Dayananda Sagar University as Assistant Professor. She has also worked as Adhoc faculty in the department of ECE, NIT Jamshedpur. She earned her PhD degree from Department of Electronics Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India and completed her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.Tech in Electronics Design and Technology from Tezpur University (A Central University), Assam. Dr. Sneha research specializes in optical fiber communication, specialty optical fiber, fiber bragg grating, photonic crystal fiber, nanophotonics, nonlinear optical applications, photonic based sensors, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She is a Senior member of IEEE with over 40 research papers published in prestigious national and international Scopus/ WOS journals and conferences including IEEE transactions of Nanobioscience and IEEE Sensors Journal. She is a reviewer of many International conferences, IEEE journals, Elsevier and Springer journals and also served as session chair in IEEE conferences. To date, she has successfully guided two PhD research scholars, UG projects and is currently supervising two PhD students.
