Dr. T. Tamilarasi is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Applications, Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai, where her research focused on developing AI-enabled crop detection, maturity prediction, real-time harvesting decision systems, and intelligent robotic solutions for precision agriculture.

With over 19 years of teaching and academic experience, Dr. Tamilarasi has expertise in Digital Image Processing, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Edge Computing. Her research interests include intelligent harvesting robots, precision agriculture, computer vision, and autonomous systems for smart farming. She has published research papers in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals, co-authored a textbook on Digital Image Processing, and contributed a book chapter on AI-driven soil conservation. She is committed to advancing interdisciplinary research, innovation, and industry-oriented education.
