Y. V. Kashyapi is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. She completed her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulatur, and her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulatur.

Her research interests include cybersecurity, penetration testing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, digital forensics, behavioral cyber analytics, network security, and threat detection and analysis. She has worked on research projects related to A Hybrid Approach to Phishing Detection using Lexical Features, Machine Learning and Fuzzy Logic, and Neuroforensics: A Hybrid AI Framework for Behavioral Network Threat Attribution Using Unsupervised Learning. She is passionate about research, innovation, and mentoring students in emerging technologies.
