Associate Professor
Dr. Venkatesh M is an Associate Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. His research expertise encompasses VLSI Device Modeling, Semiconductor Devices, Nanotechnology, RF Electronics, and AI-driven semiconductor technologies. He received his Ph.D. from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai, with specialization in VLSI Device Modeling and Nanotechnology. He is an authorized Ph.D. Research Supervisor of Anna University, Chennai, and is actively engaged in doctoral research supervision and postgraduate academic development. His research interests include Tunnel Field-Effect Transistors (TFETs), GaN/AlGaN HEMTs, RF energy harvesting, nanoscale semiconductor devices, biosensors, 2D-material-based transistors, and machine learning applications in VLSI and semiconductor device modeling. He has published 35 research articles in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, authored three books, and holds ten patents in his areas of research. His research publications have received 456 citations, with a Google Scholar H-index of 14 and i10-index of 17, and a Scopus H-index of 13. He is a recipient of the Research Excellence Award from the Institute of Scholars (InSc), Bengaluru. He has also contributed to funded research projects, research supervision, academic administration, curriculum development, faculty development programmes, and technical training initiatives. His research focuses on the development of energy-efficient semiconductor devices, intelligent VLSI architectures, and AI-enabled technologies for next-generation computing and communication systems.
