Dr. Vinitha V is an accomplished academician and researcher with extensive experience in teaching, research, academic coordination, and student mentoring in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering(Cyber Security) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Karpagam Deemed University, Coimbatore. She obtained her M.Tech in Computer Science from Kannur University, Kerala, securing Second Rank, and completed her B.Tech in Computer Science from Calicut University, Kerala.
Dr. Vinitha V has made significant contributions to research in emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cyber Security, Federated Learning, Healthcare AI, ECG Signal Processing, Computer Vision, and IoT. Her research work particularly focuses on intelligent healthcare applications, including ECG-based heart failure detection and cardiac arrest prediction, as well as privacy-preserving and scalable federated learning systems.
She has published 13 research papers in international journals and conferences, contributed to book chapters, and has 2 Indian patents. Her research has been presented at reputed national and international conferences, including IEEE conferences. She is also actively involved in interdisciplinary research collaborations and faculty development activities.
Dr. Vinitha V actively contributes to academic and institutional development through responsibilities including Exam Cell Department Coordinator, Website Coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, NBA Coordinator, Subject Coordinator, Class Advisor, and Student Mentor. She also coordinates major and minor projects and guides students in emerging technologies such as Deep Learning, Edge Computing, Computer Vision, and Cybersecurity.
