A five-day training session was conducted for medical students on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare. The students were introduced to various ML techniques, learned how to process and analyze medical images using AI, and gained practical experience in developing and deploying ML models for healthcare applications.

A visit was organized for the second-year CSME students to the CDSIMER Medical Institute, where aspiring medical engineers gained valuable insights into human anatomy and the functions of various organs and body systems through interactive learning and discussions.

The Department of Computer Science and Medical Engineering (CSME) organized an engaging expert talk by Ms. Ruby on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global career and higher education opportunities. The session provided students with valuable insights into the relevance of SDGs in today’s professional landscape and their growing importance across various industries and academic disciplines.
The talk also highlighted the career prospects, job opportunities, and pathways for pursuing Master’s education abroad, helping students understand international opportunities and the skills required to build successful global careers. The interactive session encouraged students to broaden their perspectives and explore opportunities beyond conventional academic and career pathways.

Expert Talk on Image Processing – Department of Computer Science and Medical Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Medical Engineering (CSME) organized an insightful expert talk by Prof. V. N. Manjunath Aradhya, Professor and Dean (Research), JSS Science and Technology University. The session introduced students to the fundamental concepts and practical applications of Image Processing, providing valuable insights into how digital images can be acquired, enhanced, analyzed, and interpreted for various real-world applications.
The interactive session enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of image processing techniques and their relevance in emerging fields such as healthcare, computer vision, and intelligent systems.
