It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Mechanical Engineering, committed to academic excellence, innovation, research, sustainability, industry engagement, placements, and entrepreneurship. We prepare future-ready engineers in Design, Thermal Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, AI, Industry 4.0, Robotics, Additive Manufacturing, and Sustainable Engineering.
The Department offers B.Tech, B.Voc, M.Tech, M.Tech by Research, and Ph.D. programmes, supported by experienced faculty from IITs, NITs, premier institutions, and industry. Our advanced ecosystem includes Centres of Excellence, Makerspace & Innovation Labs, Design Studio, CAD/CAM facilities, and an Additive Manufacturing Lab with Wipro 3D.Industry engagement with Bosch Rexroth, Autodesk, Cadence Design Systems, Tata Technologies, and Wipro 3D provides hands-on exposure to digital engineering, simulation, automation, smart manufacturing, and 3D printing.
We integrate AI with Mechanical Engineering for intelligent manufacturing, predictive maintenance, robotics, digital twins, design optimization, energy efficiency, and sustainable solutions. Industry-integrated training, internships, Industrial visits, live projects, NVIDIA-DLI and other certifications, along with reputed Technical Clubs such as ASME to strengthen students' technical, professional, and leadership skills.
Research and innovationare central to our mission, with faculty and students contributing through research projects, patents, conferences, and publications in reputed peer-reviewed and high-impact-factor journals.
