Department Overview
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at Dayananda Sagar University is committed to excellence in education, research, innovation, and technology development in the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence. The department combines strong foundations in Computer Science with emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, Agentic AI, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, MLOps, Edge AI, Robotics, and Responsible AI.
Through experiential learning, interdisciplinary research, industry exposure, and innovation-driven projects, the department prepares students and research scholars to address complex real-world challenges and develop intelligent, responsible, and scalable solutions. The department offers B.Tech. in CSE (AI & ML), M.Tech. in CSE (AI & ML), M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence, and Ph.D. in CSE (AI & ML).
The department is supported by advanced AI and computing facilities, including the AI Makers Space, an innovation environment for AI experimentation, rapid prototyping, and deployment, with access to NVIDIA DGX-class accelerated computing infrastructure. The ecosystem is further strengthened through interdisciplinary collaboration with various Centres of Excellence at Dayananda Sagar University, enabling advanced research, innovation, and the development of real-world AI solutions.
