Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security), School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University!
The B.Tech. program in Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security) is thoughtfully designed to address the evolving requirements of the IT industry and prepare students for diverse career opportunities in Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Digital Forensics, Ethical Hacking, and emerging technology domains.
With the growing demand for skilled cyber security professionals, our program emphasizes hands-on learning, Project-Based Learning (PBL), Problem-Based Learning, experiential learning, and innovative pedagogical practices. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Cyber Security education, along with a state-of-the-art Cyber Range, provides students with an immersive environment to understand, simulate, detect, and respond to real-world cyber threats.
Our experienced and committed faculty members bring strong academic and industry expertise, enabling students to acquire contemporary knowledge and practical skills. The department is supported by advanced laboratories, industry–academia collaborations, an updated and industry-aligned curriculum, research and innovation initiatives, internships, certifications, and outreach activities.
