Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science), School of Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University!
We are living through a moment when data and artificial intelligence are reshaping every industry, every institution, and every career — from the way medicines are discovered to the way cities move, markets behave, and decisions are made. At the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science), Dayananda Sagar University, our mission is to prepare students not merely to keep pace with that change, but to lead it. Guided by our "AI First" vision, we have built a curriculum that unites rigorous mathematical and computing foundations with deep, hands-on immersion in machine learning, deep learning, and modern data engineering. Our students learn on NVIDIA-powered infrastructure, earn globally recognised cloud certifications from Microsoft, Oracle, and AWS embedded within their coursework, and work alongside a research-active faculty whose contributions span agentic AI, explainable AI, and federated learning.
