AURORA 2026 – First Year Orientation Programme

The School of Computer Applications, Dayananda Sagar University, warmly welcomed the new batch of students through AURORA 2026, the First Year Orientation Programme for students of BCA, BCA (AI and DS), B.Sc. (Data Science), and B.Sc. (Cybersecurity).

The programme was held on 10 August 2026 at 10:00 AM at Canopy Hall, ‘A’ Block, DSU – Innovation Campus, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new students.

The occasion was graced by Shri. R. Janardhan, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dayananda Sagar University, who was present to encourage and bless the students as they embarked on their new academic journey.

The programme also featured Ms. Ramesh Rajini, Senior Principal Consultant – Learning, Infosys, as the Chief Guest. An award-winning author, Cloud and GenAI expert, and mentor who has inspired over a million learners, Ms. Ramesh Rajini shared valuable insights into the evolving technology landscape and the importance of continuous learning, innovation, and adaptability.

Dr. S. Senthil, Dean, School of Computer Applications, warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, parents, and students to the programme. He also introduced the Chief Guest, highlighting her remarkable professional achievements and contributions to the field of technology and learning.

The orientation programme aimed to provide students with a meaningful introduction to university life, academic opportunities, emerging technologies, and the professional journey ahead. The presence and interaction of distinguished leaders from academia and industry offered the students valuable perspectives and inspiration for their future careers.
