ANALYTICS CONCLAVE on Future of Work by SCMS

Dayananda Sagar University - School of Commerce & Management Studies (PGP) endeavours to transform the way we deliver valuable education to our students by knowing these challenges and imbibing new technologies in our curriculum. Keeping this objective in mind, under the guidance of Dean- SCMS, Capt. A. Nagaraj Subbarao, PhD, proudly announces ANALYTICS CONCLAVE on theme “Future of Work” wherein eminent industry experts are going to share invaluable knowledge about futuristic work environment and needed skills.

The first day of the conclave will address current operations, future data requirements, and the use of Business Analytics in the fields of financial management analytics, human resources analytics, retail operations analytics, supply chain analytics, and marketing analytics. The second day & Third day will cover Data Science models in the above functional areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain Analytics, and Deep Learning models. CHATGPT, large language models, NLP, e-CRM, LinkedIn analytics, and cyber security needs.

DSU organises Problem Solving Competition using TRIZ model

The Problem Solving Competition using TRIZ model is being held on 27th Nov Monday. This initiative is under the Problem Solving Pillar and will enhance the problem solving skills of students. Problems have been identified by the groups and they will use the TRIZ model, which is a systematic methodology for solving complex problems and generating innovative solutions. The teams, who are mentored by SCMS professors, will present to the jury and top two teams will be recognized and given certificates by Dean.

Expert session on Digital trends in Banking and Financial Services at SCMS on 25th November

Continuing the philosophy of academic enrichment and nurturing industry ready talent, the Digital Transformation - Centre of Proficiency Enhancement (DT COPE) will equip DSU MBA students with hands-on experience on Digital tools and processes in select business domains. In this regard, this session will help connect with Industry professionals to bring practical perspectives and practices of Digital Technologies in Financial Domain for the students.
